What a week for Vijay Singh! A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Singh for his first victory on tour at the Bridgestone Invitational in 18 months. Singh also became the oldest person to win this event at 45 years old. He had 4 awesome rounds of 67, 66, 69 and 68 to claim victory by 1 stroke at 10 under par.
Aaron had 1 really rough day which made it very difficult for him to recover from for the rest of the tournament. His 1st round consisted of 5 bogeys and 2 double bogeys to see him finish 9 over par with a 79. He spent the next 3 days on damage control and had good rounds of 69, 66 and 68 to move back to 2 over par for the tournament and to finish with a share of 43rd place.
No time to rest for Aaron as he now heads to the PGA Championship.
