Welcome to one of Aaron’s most enjoyable stops on the tour, the Northern Trust Open, hosted by the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.
Always a fun event for Aaron, who maintains a very solid history at the event. The greens are small and the pin placements are always considered tough so you really need to ‘think’ your way through the course, just the kind of challenge Aaron likes.
Putting is essential this week with the tough greens and as you all know that has always been one of Aaron’s best traits on the course. So let’s hope that shines through this week.
Phil Mickelson has won this tournament the past 2 years and he is out to make it 3 in a row. The course is 7298 yards and par is 71.
Aaron will tee off from the 10th tee at 11:30am on Thursday with Michael Allen and John Senden.
